COVID-19 Safety and You
At East Carolina Rehabilitation and Wellness we want you to know that we are continually monitoring the COVID-19 situation and placing the safety of your loved ones as our highest priority.
This is why we have restricted visitation.
There have been no cases of COVID-19 at East Carolina Rehab and Wellness.
Staying in Touch With Your Loved One
Just because visitation isn’t allowed, you can still stay in touch with your loved one through email, calling them or even writing a letter. They will appreciate your effort to make contact with them.
Protect Yourself by Getting Reliable Information
Wash your hands. Practice social distancing. You’ve heard all these many times before. The internet is saturated with information, some of it accurate, some of it not.
It’s important to realize that the situation is changing, and it’s vital to stay up-to-date on the latest developments. That’s why we wanted to provide a list of reliable resources you can use.
We recommend:
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s COVID-19 update page
- The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services COVID-19 updates
Updates and information from large medical institutions like the Mayo Clinic and the similar page at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
The Safety of Your Loved One Is Our Top Priority
At East Carolina Rehab and Wellness, our residents and staff are like a family, and like a family, we stick together and support each other during challenges. We want you to rest assured that we are protecting the ones you love and providing the highest level of care possible.
Together, we are a team, and we’ll get through this.
